The first thing one noticed upon entering was that many people had tropical shirts on and there was a scent of sunscreen in the air. That right off the bat set the mood for the night. I felt as if I was in Jamaica and totally forgot this concert was actually in Virginia. Jimmy Buffett appeared on stage with a tremendous stage presence and vigor. He preformed many of his famous hits such as Margaritaville. He also performed several songs from his new album Beach House on the Moon, the list included I will play for gumbo, Permanent reminder of a temporary feeling, Flesh and Bone and Spending money. I have listened to the CD and when I compared the quality of music at the show it was just as good as the CD. I believe that this is due to the fantastic sound system of the Nissan Pavilion ^tm and the excellent condition of Jimmy Buffetts' voice. Buffett made 3 encore appearances to the delight of the sold out Pavilion and gave a very memorable and entertaining performance.
